How do you find the energy to write when you're not in the mood?
I take it from other people. Like a vampire... No, not really. 
I have managed to write every day this month, even on the days when I don't feel entirely up to it, by reminding myself of a few things. First, people are actually reading this blog again. Second, I made a promise to myself and everyone else who signed up for this month's NaBloPoMo that I would be present, which means both writing a post and reading theirs. Third, I never regret having published a post. In fact, I recognize it as a small accomplishment, especially given that there have been so many times when I forgot to post or just didn't feel like writing a damn thing for so many months in 2012.
So while I am not an "energy vampire," I do get inspired and motivated by people and sometimes the tiny shot of energy I need to get through a tough writing spell comes from others. I just try not to suck any of their energy out in the process.
